Minitab Instructions/Descriptive Statistics (Simple Version)
Lab Data: Driving_Data

Minitab produces descriptive statistics in the following format:

Variable             N       Mean     Median     TrMean      StDev    SE Mean
Daily St            35     11.191     10.140     10.664      5.779      0.977

Variable       Minimum Maximum  Q1         Q3
Daily St         3.980     27.540      7.240     13.840

To produce descriptive statistics:
Title your data in the column heading C1(use C2, C3, etc. for more than one variable)
Enter your raw data in C1
Select Stat > Basic Statistics > Display Descriptive Statistics ...
Select data in C1 (double click) </you may select more than one variable/>
<ignore "By variable:" when variables are in seperate columns>
OK

LAB: Enter data for the male and female driving speeds from: Driving_Data. use Minitab to produce the descriptive statistics. Do not print results.
