Minitab Instructions/Lab Individual Boxplot
Note: These are NOT directions for side-by-side boxplots
Data: Class_Examples_Data #1

To create a default boxplot:
Note: The default will display the boxplot in a verticle orientation
Title your data in the column heading C1
Enter your raw data in C1
Select Graph menu and highlight Boxplot...
In the Y column select data in C1 (double click)
leave the X column blank
Select [Annotation] > title: “enter a title name” OK
OK

To create a horizontal boxplot:
Title your data in the column heading C1
Enter your raw data in C1
Select Graph menu and highlight Boxplot...
In the Y column select data in C1 (double click)
leave the X column blank
select Options... select Transpose X and Y OK
Select [Annotation] > title: “enter a title name” OK
OK

Lab: Use Class_Examples_Data #1. Use Minitab to create a boxblot of the data. Be sure to title your graph. Note that Minitab displays outliers with a "*".
